- Personal Information: Name, Email address, and Phone number.
- Government Identity (Sensitive Data): National Identity Number (NIN) or BVN. This is collected strictly for identity verification (KYC) as required by law to prevent fraud. We do not use this data for any other purpose.
- Transaction Data: Records of airtime/data purchases and wallet funding history.
- Device Data: IP addresses and device type for security and fraud prevention.
2. Use of Information
We use your data strictly for:
- Processing your VTU transactions instantly.
- Verifying your identity to comply with anti-money laundering laws.
- Sending transaction receipts and password reset emails.
- Detecting and preventing fraud on your account.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We only share necessary data with:
- Payment Processors (Paystack/Monnify): To securely process your payments.
- Identity Verification Services: To validate the NIN/BVN provided against official databases.
- Telecom Providers: To deliver Airtime or Data to the phone number you provide.
- Law Enforcement: If explicitly required by a court order or for fraud investigation.
4. Data Security
We prioritize the security of your data:
- Encryption: All data is transmitted via secure SSL (HTTPS) connections.
- Passwords: Your password and Transaction PIN are encrypted using industry-standard hashing algorithms (Bcrypt).
- Payments: We do not store your Debit Card details. All card transactions are handled securely by Paystack.
5. Account Deletion (User Rights)
You have full control over your data. If you wish to stop using Ginsau Data:
- In-App Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and data directly within the app by navigating to Profile > Settings > Delete Account.
- Manual Request: You may also contact our support team at support@ginsaudata.com (or your support email) to request deletion.
- Upon deletion, your wallet balance and personal details will be permanently removed from our active servers, though transaction logs may be retained for regulatory auditing purposes.
